This week, Miss Anna’s class in Foundation 4 have been stretching their way into the new year with a bit of Yoga.
In a world full of, overstimulation, peer pressure, temptations and distractions, Yoga can be a great tool to help deal with the day-to-day pressures of our little ones.
It can help them to develop body awareness whilst using their bodies in a healthy way, to manage stress, help with focus/concentration, increase confidence and build self-esteem as they work within a non-competitive group.

The children have been doing sun salutations, downward dogs, bridges, turtles, cats, crocodiles, butterflies, trees and snakes.
Who knew Yoga could be so much fun for children?
